Running a youth summer camp means creating memories for ever. Not just for the campers but for the staff as well. With 400 kids and 60 staff attending camp through July and August each year, Ontario summer camp owner and Director, Matthew Bernardo faced the challenge of collecting the countless candid moments and incredible memories captured at camp by his staff on their own devices.
This year Matthew discovered DropEvent. It completely streamlined the process of gathering photos from his summer camp staff after camp had ended.
Matthew shares, “It’s busy at camp and internet is limited so exchanging photos during the summer is difficult. This was my first year of using DropEvent to collect the photos from the staff after camp ended and the response was great. I sent out an e-mail to all the staff with a link and they found it very easy to upload whatever photos they wanted to share. In the past I had tried Google Drive or Dropbox but the staff found DropEvent much cleaner and easier. Plus, the way the photos are organized by sender made my life much easier which it came to editing and shorting.”
DropEvent has not only simplified the collection process but also enhanced the quality of the final product (Photo USB drive) with more photos being shared by staff.
